Dr. Nancy Haupt graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1981 and worked in Sudbury before returning to the Durham region in 2008.
Dr. Haupt has provided dental care to the mentally challenged, and to elderly patients in nursing and retirement homes. She also spends four to five weeks each year working at dental clinics on northern Native reserves.
A strong advocate of preventive dentistry, Dr. Haupt has a strong interest in health and nutrition. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and most particularly dental surgery and working with children.
A member of the Canadian Dental Association, Dr. Haupt enjoys educating patients about dental health and putting people at ease by explaining dental procedures in easy-to-understand terms.
