Teething
Teething can start as early as three months up to babies first birthday.

Teething symptoms
-Drooling
-Rash
-Coughing and or gag reflex
-Biting
-Crying
-Irritability
-Refusing to eat
-Ear pulling and cheek rubbing

Every baby reacts to teething differently,  some have virtually no symptoms while others suffer through teething pain for months.
At Oshawa Centre Dental we believe that  When you know  the signs to look for , You  can make it easier for your baby and you to get through this particular milestone.

Here are some teething remedies you might like to try!
-Rubber teething rings rattles and other chewy soft toys work well specially if they’re cold. However keep these items cold in the refrigerator and NOT THE FREEZER  as very cold items can hurt sensitive gums.

-A bottle of cold water can offer  relief to achy gums for babies over six months when water can be introduced.

-Cold foods such as yogurt,  blend of peaches and applesauce once they’ve already been introduced to your baby , can be more appetizing to a teething baby then warm or room temperature treats and can easily sooth aching gums10 Reasons to Smile
